Red Sox fan group questions Mariano Rivera's Birth Certificate

With all of the controversy surrounding Donald Trump's comments about Barrack Obama’s birth status and certificate, we are learning that it is also playing a roll in Major League Baseball.

A high ranking leader from the Boston Red Sox outcast fan group (the Boston Tea Party) is starting to make some noise regarding Mariano Rivera’s Birth Certificate.

Patrick O’Reilly, self proclaimed President of the Boston Tea Party, wants justice for his beloved Sox.

“This has gone on long enough…The guy was born in Panama and I’m wicked pissed. I was born and raised in Billerica… Billerica MA, which is in the United States of America! Come on Mariano show everyone your birth certificate, you phony.”

The part that we can’t understand, is why he is even questioning Mariano. Everyone already knows he is from Panama. He is proud to be from Panama and if you play baseball, you can be from where ever you want. In fact our research shows that 97% of the players in MLB are from other countries. So what’s his point?

“Don’t try and change the subject. Hand over the birth certificate. Big Papi doesn’t have a problem showing he is from America.”

We checked, Big Papi is from the Dominican Republic.

"There is no freaking way that they would have put 'Mo' on his birth certificate way back then. I want it analyzed and I want it analyzed now by expert analyst Donald Trump."

Although we don’t know why he is so adamant about proving Mo’s citizenship status, we will keep you posted on the developments.
