Francisco Cervelli takes home the Oscar for best Actor.

Throughout the offseason, Francisco Cervelli has been working on his acting skills while getting in shape for the 2011 season. He has been such a great actor lately that he even convinced himself that he could be the starting catcher this year.

While at the Academy Awards, Fransciso was wearing a sparkly shirt (compliments of Forever 21) and a dirty catcher's helmet courtesy of Rawlings. He definitely stood out on the red carpet and was rubbing elbows with many of the celebs.

Tom Hooper, the director of “King’s Speech” is rumored to be interested in Cervelli's acting abilities for his much anticipated sequel called “The King has written another speech.” It is quoted, by an unreliable source, that he said Cervelli is “Simply Marvelous and would be a perfect fit in the sequel.”

Dicky Eklund, former crack head and the inspiration for the movie "The Fighter", is also rumored to be interested in helping to train Cervelli.
